Sunday 19th was a glorious day to hit the trails on the Cornish coastal paths, as a fond trail runner the weather was perfect the sun was shining but not too hot, myself and a few fellow runners embarked on our adventure from Cape Cornwall to Saint Ives.
This is by no means an easy section of the coast to run, there's steep climbs and lots of them! There's plenty of fantastic views along the route, you pass through Pendeen, Morvah and Zennor this is where you will find yourself scrambling up over boulders! This coast isn't for the faint-hearted road runner! it's challenging, technical and very wet and boggy in places, you may come across the odd cow or pony as well, which are generally ok as there used to people on the paths. I shall be back out there for round two in a couple of weeks time. Hope you like the pictures.
